The Department of Biological Sciences at The University of Southern Mississippi is offering a summer enrichment program, “Survivor 2008” June 22 - 27, 2008. With the theme, “Adventure, Teamwork, Biology”, Survivor 2008 focuses on doing collaborative work and producing leaders for the common goal of success. The world of science is a world of active thought and exploration. At Survivor: 2008, you’ll stay busy and engaged as you experience, explore and examine scientific concepts and experiments. Join in the fun while you participate in tons of interesting and exciting group activities, including: Aquatic Ecology Activities, Microbiology Activities, Survival Skills Activities, Canoeing and Ecology Activities, First Year Experience - College Survival Sessions, Challenge Country - Experiential Learning and Ropes Course, Roundtable Discussions, Nightly Educational and Social Activities.
